There is a Basset Hound rescue right here in Wyoming (they are listed on Petfinder.com). I'm pretty positive one or two are the siblings of our Chief, same age, coloring, and the shelter is located close to the breeder. It makes me sad... but there is no way I can handle more than two of the stubborn breed at a time.

No, Paws is from South Dakota and Chief is from Wyoming. We ended up getting Chief a few months after Paws because I had a baby shortly after bringing him home... and Paws wasn't at all happy about not being #1 in the house anymore. Chief was definetly meant to be more his companion than anything, but she's turned out to be Baylee's best buddy instead :-)
