I just recently lost my 6 year old Bernese Mt. Dog to lymphoma. There are things that I'm sure that could have been done to keep his immune system functioning at 110% and could have possibly fought off this dreaded cancer before it reared its ugly head. I would be very interested in seeing what this book recommends relating to longevity of the canine, since I currently have an 18 month old Bernese Mt. Dog that I would love to keep alive past the decade mark.
Can't wait to read it!

I downloaded the "Healing your pets at home" by Dr. Andrew Jones. I guess you have to order the other one.

Does this book go into the choices in dog food? I am so confused with all the different "expert" opinions on what exactly is the best dog food.

I too, can't wait to read it. My precious Angel has ME soooooooo spoiled rotten by being the best little girl in the universe. Once she learned (& she did it SO quickly) what was expected of her, she's never done anything wrong.................... human children should be as good as she is. She will be 10 years old this month & these have been the best 8 & 1/2
years of my life thanks to her. She has saved my life 3 times. She was given to me 2 days after I returned from my Marine sons funeral in 2000. I had given up on life & thought it was not worth living any more. She instinctively knew what to do w/me & went to town doing it. Several years later, she went to get my sister when I stopped breathing one night. She did it again a short time later, but this time we went to the doctor about it. Come to find out, I have sleep apnea. I am now on a breathing machine @ night & have no more problems w/ the apnea. Of course, I have spoiled her rotten over the years also. People comment about it, but they are also the first to agree that she doesn't act as if she is spoiled. Heaven help me when it's time for her to cross the Rainbow Bridge..................I WILL NOT be able to handle it.

I think this is so awesome of you to give a free book for us to be able to read and learn the right things to do for our fur-babies!! This is great for people who are disabled or whatever on a fixed income that we can't afford to buy the books!!
