Our little Lucy was obtained through the Humane Society, She was such a frightened, abused little

girl when we got her in May 2001.

She was such a pretty little girl and once she realized that we loved her she became quite the little princess. She is the only dog I have ever had that I truly felt like had a sense of humor. She loved to tease by stealing your mail or your slippers and then prancing through the house.

She developed congestive heart failure in 2006 and had been on medication for about a year. She went out for her usual morning run in the yard on July 30, 2007, then came in, lay down and went to sleep forever.

I'm so sorry for your loss. How kind of you to bring her to your home and rescue her. You gave her love when she most needed it. I hope that will be of comfort to you. I lost my beautiful dog Keesha this past Nov.. She was 14 yrs. old and had a major stroke. I miss her every day and am thankful for all the love she brought me over the years.

It is so very sad to loose a wonderful friend and pet. I had to have my little miniture schnauzer put to sleep on Feb 11, 2007 after 11 wonderful years. He had tumors and even with medicine he only lived another two months. The cancer went to his brain and he had three seizures and I had to make the very hard decision to let him go. I could not let the precious baby suffer any more.
Several days later my husband took me to find a new baby, his name is Buddy and also a miniture schnauze. Buddy didn't replace our precious Max, he just came to help heal our broken hearts and fill our lives with joy again.
