Yes...he loveeees to be challenged! So I try to come up with games to test him and he like the =once ina while treat= my dad trained a german shepherd to the point where he would ANYTHING FOR HIM and he gave me hints on training......even tho I go by the books....but he said if u giv them treats all the time then they will rely on them but if u giv them a small treat every 5 times they sit or watever it works a wee bit better....even tho I like the treats training........he's one smart cookie! I've screwed up once by getting frustrated......but I'm trying to be more positive with him....I'm not the playful piddly wiggly type like my mom is but were getting along just fine....I think of him like my baby altho much less work its still a big responsibility for me and I have to find what makes him tick and wut he likes......still an adventure for both of us =)

Yes I'm most definately having fun and since I'm a pretty negative person he has helped me a lot....u can't possibly get mad at those bulgy eyes if u do he will crawl back in ur lap=) my mom gets very annoying with playing with him bcuz she lets him bite her and all that but I never thought a pug would b an obedient dog he can already sit liedown and stay!

Your instincts were perfect!! We often get baby birds brought to us because they "fell out of the nest". Once they have adult-type feather (not just down) it is most likely that the baby is a fledgling. It is perfectly natural for fledglings to end up on the ground in the process of their first hesitant attempts at flight. Mom and Dad take care of them on the ground. Most of the time no human assistance is necesary. However, if baby is in a yard where there may be a cat or dog we recommend exactly what you did - try to get baby up in its oriignal nest or if that isn't possibel rig something up to get it out of harms way where Mom and Dad can land and bring food. Good job!! I love blue jays...they are in my favorite family of birds, the corvids, Corvids include my absolute favorite birds, crows, along with ravens, magpies and jays. Michele
