| I don't know the greenest but I do know that any heartworm meds work great on dogs. Ask you vets and he/she may know the secret or I ask the assistants to the vet- they are very informed of what's going on with fleas and they will give you good ideas. At least my vet assistants do. Check out catalogs on pet supplies. Good luck. Amberdoodle | | | |

| I used nimatoads three years ago and I have not had a problem with fleas ever since. I had tried advantage, bug bombing, and even an exterminator. None of them worked except the nimatoads. I have been flea free for three years. I have recommended to friends and family and they all love it. The only down fall with the nimatoads if you grow vegetables. They love to eat the roots of the veggie plants along with flea larva. I am not currently at my office, which is where I have the information for the company that sees the nimatoads. I could send you the information later if you like. If so, email me at pookie70@aol.com">Opookie70@aol.com and let me know. Sincerely, Dawn | | | |

| | I put apple cider vinegar in my pets water. Only 1 tablespoon to a gallon. And when I give them baths I give them a final rinse with it. This is the first year that I have tried it, and it's worked great. It has also taken care of the hot spots one of the dogs had. | | | |

| I also put apple cider vinegar in my pets water. 1 teaspoon to a small pet water bowl and two teaspoons to a large pet water bowl. A long time ago I had heard of this flea remedy and hesitated until I heard two or three times from different dog owners. I have been doing this for years now and my pets never have fleas. I recommend this highly! | | | |

| Hi Dawn: What are Nimatoads? and how do they get rid of the fleas? I have a dog and three cats and have tried everything to get rid of them. I live in florida and have a horrible sand-flea problem inside and outside of my home, as well as on my pets. Please help if at all possible! Thank you. Karatgold I | | | |

| Aren't nematoads roundworms? When dogs have roundworms we treat to get rid of them. Are these different? | | | |

| | Nematodes are a beneficial insects, harmful to about 32 diff. insects , but are not harmful to humans or pets. You can go to a website www.ajbeneficials.com. It will explain it all to you. You can obtain max. results in flea extermination in about 48 hours. | | | |

| | Try diatomaceous earth. I have heard people praise it. It is 'green' and safe to the pets - but you don't want to inhale it. Google knows more. | | | |

| We have had fleas in our home twice, unfortunately. They were carried in by visiting dog owners (dogs were in the car). Both people were scratching while they were here. Anyway, this applies to HEALTHY cats only: Use Advange for two months in a row. That's all we did. I would never consider using any treatment on an OLD cat. My friend uses nothing for her cats (who go outside a couple hours a day). She combs the cats, dips fleas into hot soapy water, and checks them daily. She does nothing else. I find this hard to believe, but this is what she does. | | | |
