I rescued 2 kittens that someone dumped along a major highway about a month ago, they both had terrible colds in their eyes and were very weak. I weaned them both back to health and finally let them out into the general population of the house (i have two older cats too) they kittens, sammy and tiger seemed to fit in good, but sammy has a bad habit! he chews the tops of my daughters bottle nipples and pacifiers off! i have had to replace several of them now and it seems like no matter where i "hide" them sammy will find them. is there anything i can do to break this habit?

he'll probably grow out of it. But you can do what I did for my Bengal he chewed on everything when he was kitten. I bought him a kitty kong and some dog toys that were soft and he chews on those now example Puppy teething ring worked great for me. He's almost three now and doesn't chew as much as he did.

Take a few pacifiers and nipples you don't mind sacrificing, soak them in listerine, hot sauce, etc., and leave them where Sammy will find them.

As for the ones you want to protect, keep them in the refrigerator.  I haven't met a cat that can open the fridge.  The freezer, yes, my cats can open that.  But not the fridge.  Go figure.
