Hi! My name is Marian and I'm brand new to this web site.  Joined to assure myself that I am not the only one who bawls during commercials about the ASPCA, and can desolve into tears when I think about  the Oprah show on puppy mills!

I'm a grandma of 2 beautiful grandsons(2 yrs and one 5 mo. and another  grandbaby on the way!)

I live in the foothills of Calif''s MotherLode about 3hrs from Lake Tahoe and Kirkwood Ski Resort is just around the corner. We've lived here about 21 yrs and it is beautiful here (except during FIRE SEASON.....

I actually have 4 dogs, three are staying with my sister-in-law because of her huge yard. Twooie, my pom/chihuahua mix is the only one who actually lives with us because she owns the title of Princess and Mom's Girlfriend.The others I miss horribly but we just don't have the room and we're trying to sell out log home sooooo....

I hope I haven't gone on too much, If you'd like to type with me I'm all fingers!

My name is Becky and I have two cats that I resced from being abonded on the street.Cook was eight months when I got her .She weighed just three pounds and was pregnant and sick.I also have Mr.Purr same sitution but he was eight months old and he was sick,I work for a vet and with a lot of care and love I am blessed to have them in my life, I had had to cats before but they got up to be nineteen and twwenty got sickinesses that had a deaf sentence so when it was     sad to do it but I had to have one put to sleep a year ago and the other two years ago.My cats are like an astended part of my faimily.Would love to have you as a computer buddy if you have the time.Becky

I'm new also, and my name is Bryana.  I am twenty-one and from Indiana.  Just last October I adopted my first kitten, Charlie, from a home down the road, actually I'd been sent to the convenience store and came home with a kitten 

Actually I feel like I saved him, the people weren't terrible but they had these three month old babies on adult cat food and had the entire litter of kittens as well as the mother sharing one dirty cat box.  Not to mention she'd gotten them over the counter flea collars that hadn't even helped (I actually had to rush him to the vet because I hadn't noticed the eggs that were all over him right away and he was starting to seem really ill).  For some reason he's afraid of men, but he's also afraid of sneezes and music so I let it go.
