We are the people that need to help spread this word. We are the dog enthusiasts and lovers. We need to educate people that pet stores are meer brokers for mills, and there are virtually NO " BREEDERS FROM PENNSYLVANIA!!!!!!" Not only do the stores sell mill dogs, they lie about it.I am in a very tricky position as a dog trainer. I can't say I won't train a pet store dog. Most families really don't understand the puppy mill thing and are innocent. Are they guilty of spontanous buying, probably, but don't we all buy things from time to time on the spur of the moment? So, I give them an education without making them feel terrible about the dog they just bought. No one wants to get dressed down by a stranger. The time to educate is before the purchase. We can make a huge impact by simply spreading the word.
