| | As some of you saw in chat tonight, I have a brand new puppy and I need help with his name. I don't know what breed he is but his mother was part black lab. He is mostly black with a bit of white on his chest.
Some of my thoughts and others suggestions:
Jack (for jackal or blackjack)
Onyx or Nik
Bruno (Italian for dark)
Pino (Italian for Pine - was born at Pine Forest Veterinary Hosp)
Jet
Coalie
Fuego was it? Fire to go with Aqua (water)
Beegee, Gibb, or any of the gibb brothers (after he showed off is whining/singing talents)
Also, Smokie (Robinson), Frankie (Valli) am I forgetting anyone?
I'm obviously forgetting alot of the names that were suggested and darn it there were some good ones in there. So, please give me suggestions or vote on one that was given. Thanks in advance!

When I was on the Apache Reservation I rescued a black kitten and some of the locals named it the Apache word for crow unfortunately I can't remember how to spell it but sounded like Gullgaie.....or maybe after his singing on chat tonite name him Louis, Sammy, Nat, King or Cole.....you get the idea.

| | Well, I don't think he has enough white on his chest for Tux - but I posted a new picture of him. And after last night, I'm thinking of calling him whiny pain in the butt! Why did I get a puppy! | | | |

| | OOHHH bea... Your so lucky he's still very much a baby. My new one is 7 (?) months old. Today I came home to find a whole platter of cookies eaten up and my text book for school chewed up ARRRGGGHHH!!! And the cookies were well out of reach he had to really work for them. Every day I come home to something crazy. I had to take all the rice and pasta boxed foods out of my bottom cupboard because he gets them out and eats them. Well have you decided on a name yet???

| | In one of those pics he is looking " aside" so I might name him Jack after Jack Benny. I also like the idea of an Italian name but he is not a Bruno or a Pino. How bout Giacomo- for short Jack.
I think my dog thinks I changed her name to " QUIET"!

| No folks, I still can't decide on a name. I don't think it's a problem yet as he doesn't really seem to listen to me that much - too busy exploring the new place and trying to chew everything in reach. He'll come running back to me, practically jumping and skipping making me consider Skip - but I have an Uncle with that nickname (but not admired enough to use the name, if you know what I mean). The way Aqua is avoiding him, considered waterproof - not really, Aqua can't decide how to play with him so she runs away when he runs after her.
Right now, the one in the lead is Pino because of all the whinning he does. (Pinot - wine) But then I read the post and see something else to consider. I liked Licorice Ped, but not sure if I want to be calling "Licorice get over here right now", neighbors might think I've finally lost it.
Sigh - maybe I'll have an inspired, sleep deprived thought one of these nights. But probably not - please keep the suggestions coming! And thanks for the well wishes!!
