Ok so I just want to know how many of us have dogs that have adopted the spare room as their own. My little guy Zeus likes to nap in one of the spair rooms until I am ready to turn off the tv and go to bed then he comes in and goes to sleep with me. It's adorable, instead of a crate which many pups have and he hated and would never go in he will just go into "his" bedroom and nap when he needs to get away for a little while. This is no longer a spare room and now Zeus' bedroom

My dogs never slept on the spare bed, unless I was in the room..... my dogs have a "NEED" to be in the same room I am in all the time.... I guess thats why they call Newfoundland Dogs, the "Velcro Dogs".......they even have to be in the bathroom with me there is no such thing as privacy in this house

My boys (dogs & cheetoh) tend to stay with me until bedtime and then follow me to bed... mama's boys, the whole lot

Molly will usually stay with me until bedtime, but on her "busy" days, when she's literally dog tired she gives up and goes to bed before me. Zorro usually goes down in the basement to his house, knowing he can always come & go as he pleases. Somehow, the signal for bedtime is brushing my teeth, then they both jump on the bed and SOMEHOW leave room for me

Well Max took over the love seat as soon as he was able to get up on it..now its his and he fills it out, so now no one can sit there except me...

My labs and coondogs follow me which ever room I'm in. One of my spare bedrooms is off limits! I do keep a BIG bag of dog food in there and if I spill a little I'll let one in to clean up.. then back out they go! The rest of the house is theirs.. LOL
