| Ok Day 3 is it day 3 already ?? I'm sleep deprived so i'm taken a guess lol  So last night i got out of the chat room early because all was quite and i figured FINALLY i can get ATLEAST a nap in. hahahaha hmm nice try on my part all 3 of mine where fast asleep with me I wake up about 45 min later and hear a sound it sounds like wheels moving across the floor so i get up and see what it is . i come out to the hall where i have all there supplies and there are 4 yes 4 little pups trying to get into the food storage container i have there food in 2 of them are on top trying to eat it off and the other 2 are pushing it around the hall not sure what they thought they where doing but i come around the corner and they all run to the gate like they where thinking "Ohh no she's coming lets get back quick" after i pretty much was on the floor in tears from laughing so hard i put them all back over the gate that there NOT suppose to be over in the first place . I was up again for another couple hrs after that then finally went back to sleep  This morning i have to go pick up the pups at the vet and bring in another 3 at the same time i am gonna go stop at petco and buy one of those OMG size gates with little slates and really tall while i am there i think i'm gonna look at those i think there cat ramps but there covered in carpet and they go up on one side and down on the other I figure maybe they will give them alittle course to run around on and they might like it We'll see how well it goes i also have to bring in stool samples of my dogs in the vet wants me to bring them in weekly just to make sure there is nothing in them. All the pups where checked and all but just to be on the safe side for worms and stuff. I have more pics but i can't get them uploaded i placed the wire somewhere and can't find it either that or it got eaten  The pups are getting pretty good with going potty outside too they only had 1 accident last night but first thing in the morning i have to figure out how to get them out quickly first think in the morning i might put all of them out together and then just bring a bag of treats with me they all seem to run like the wind when they hear the treat bag move so i might do that to get them all back in not sure yet . Ok well off to the vets i go and then to petco

| the Domi house is THE place to be it seems. Midnight food raids, obstacle courses for fun and games, and then there's the medievil sounding belt with 4-legged furbabies attached. Better hope they don't all run in one direction, or they'll pull you right off your feet (maybe knee pads & helmet in Domi's future????) | | | |

What I did was take those tension gates, and use one on top of the other. was pretty tall that way. And much cheaper than the giant gate your talking about.
Your wonderful for taking the pooches in. I don;t envy you however. That is a lot of work.

| | I truly admire people who foster. At least you won't have a bunch of puppies barking all the time. *Now* I see the advantage to a non-barking dog. Loved the visual of you walking them all with the leash belt. You must have looked like a many-legged spider.

| LOL many legged spider LOL i was telling a friend today that owning a Basenji is like have a spider monkey on crack in the house lol lol :) So today i went to get the pups at the vet they all did get and looked good we went to petco and got the gate $115. for a gate i'm telling ya it's highway robbery  but i put it in and it has been workin great we'll see tonight when the little escape artists decide to go on another adventure lol i have the pups that got fixed separate from the other ones right now just so they dont play to rough and its been working ok for now they've just been sleeping alot i acaully might let them come out into the other part of the house with my dogs tommrow once they rested alittle i talked to the vet today and she said all the pups have tested heathly so its ok to let them be with my dogs if i want but because there is so many i will just let a few out at a time with them but the spayed ones i will let out with them cuz mine will be gentle with them not sure we'll see how it goes tommrow and how the pups are feeling my challege of today is to find names for all of them cuz at the vets there folder just says basenji 163 164 165 ect ect because they dont have names poor little ones so today i'm working on that as of right now i only have a few with names one of course is JR thats phoenix little buddy lol {witch is going to acaully be named Diego then theres Tucson , Mesa, Houston, Dallas, Augusta, Carmel, Madison, Quincy, Cody, Reno, Newton, Thunder, and Belle woooo hoooo finally they all have names of course i won't remember witch on is witch for a while lol so in order we have the girls first Belle, Madison, Mesa, Carmel,and Augusta then theres all the boys are Thunder, Reno, Cody, Quincy, Tucson, Houston, Dallas, Newton and of course Diego:) I was good to find out that all are heathly i was worried becuase where they came from but it all worked out well :) Well off to poopy patrol i go

| | Day 4, Wow now this is gonna be the hardest on the days that i have to work trying to cook set up parties and run to see what there getting into now or getting them all in and out while trying to do all this is alittle crazy right now hopefully in a few days i can work out a system. My niece and nephew will be here after school so that will help out and give me time to get some things organized . Last night went ok the gate worked and nobody got over it last night i have the 3 pups that got spayed Sat out with my dogs and they all seem to be doing great there sunbathing now on the porch as i type lol :) All of them also are doing great with housebreaking also a few accidents but not to bad considering there all still pretty small . well gotta run just thought i would give ya all an update ...

| | Day 5 .. Well last night didn't go to bad it was alittle bumpy for a while . this is going to sound really bad BUT in my defense theres alot of puppies lol I was going in one of the closets to get some things and one of the pups { Tucson} got in there and i didn't notice it well about 45 min later i was letting them out and reliezed he was missing well i look in there and there he is sitting on the paper towels looked up at me with that innocent look on his face like well u left me in here so i thought i would keep myself busy lol he had shred threw 16 rolls of paper towel no wonder i didnt hear him he was to busy ripping and ripping and ripping he was ok though it didn't look like he ate anything just enjoyed shredding it lol the gate has been working great they can't seem to get traction on it so that's good the pups are all enjoying the sun lately not sure what i am going t do when it get cloudy they lay in the sun for a couple of hrs in the morning so it gives me a chance to get caught up on things but if the sun isn't out there gonna be right on my butt . I'm hoping it's going to stay a sunny October :) lol gotta run for now it's feeding time .

PS. To Anyone that has been emailing me about adopting the pups i appreciate all the interest. But i AM NOT the one ADOPTING THEM OUT . I am fostering them for awhile . WHEN the shelter is looking for homes for them i will make sure to pass your info on to them . But please don't keep emailing me about that subject it takes up the time i have to care for the pups.

| | Sorry i haven't been able to update to much here this week been super busy working and taken care of the pups All of them are doing great There all spayed and neutered now and healing up great only a couple had to wear the little dishes that put on but the others where great with out one so far anyways they have been behaving lately so that's good there in a routine now with sleeping and going out so there has been very very few accidents and havent been too much trouble at night and letting me get some sleep in the middle of the night i have been getting up after 4hrs just to let them out for alittle bit they seem to have alittle bladder so since i have been doing that i havent had any accidents to pick up in the AM . Just thought i would give ya all a quick update., back to work for me chat with u all later .
