| | I'll have to say what I love most about my cat because I don't have a dog yet.
She is independent.
Everything must be on her terms.
She doesn't put up with much.
She is an extrovert.
She loves the sun. | | | |

| | I love doggy breath, big brown eyes, feeling someone who got cold snuggle up against my back. Sweet kisses on my forehead while I am sleeping, a head pushed under my hand asking for a pat, unconditional devotion, faithfulness and trust. | | | |

| | Past Dogs.
Sir Guiness , who when he wanted attention would hit you with his paw as if to say pet me.
But if he was sitting there and you walked up and started petting his head, would scoot back and look down his nose at you as if to say, it is SIR Guiness, did I give you permission.
Lady Irish Mist, who, if you were sitting there , it would feel like a fly touching your leg, you would look down and it was her paw, and a look that said love me.
Mariah, thats what they call the wind, and she was always on the move.
Unless you were watching tv or reading. Then she would have to cuddle up.
Brady, would cock his head and ears when you were talking, as if he understood every word.
Moose, if you were sitting at his end of the couch, would put his nose between you and the end and using his 90 lbs would gently move you over.
That was his spot.
Drambuie, the current pest, would you believe he can actually throw his tennis ball and hit you in the head when you are watching tv, your supposed to be playing fetch with him. And yes we play fetch in the house, even when we lived in a 30 ft motor home.
Gus, ok he is a cat, Has decided he must guard the door to the spare bedroom/office when I am on the putor. And also must investigate all paper crumbling noises , even the ripping open of envelopes.
Those are just some of the things I love about my fur kids, past and present.

| | Thank You my Vassal.
While cooking today, another memory came back.
A wooden spoon I use all the time has uneven edges, yes it is an old spoon,
these edges were caused by Lady Irish Mist, who when licking the spoon clean, decided to take a couple chews.

| | I love the Sir Micro will always look up into my eyes to see what is going on. I also love that he will lay against my lower back when we are in bed. I find it funny that when Sir Micro is "done" eating, if he hasn't eaten all his kibble, it will "cover it" with a paper towel. THAT is one smart dog!
I love that Mr Wookie will kiss ONLY me. I also love that he sleeps above my head, on my pillow, watching over me all night long. He is just so darn CUTE!
I love that Glory (my new girl) snuggles under my chin when I am holding her. I love how she will find a toy to lay her head on, like a pillow. I love how she will NOT walk in front of me, she knows who is the Boss Lady here.
Can we ever love our dogs too much?
GREAT topic!

| | My newest furkid loves for me to pick her up and put her on my lap. Now my girl is a G Shep 10 month puppy. But she thinks she is still a little puppy. I love it when we take naps together we have to play first or she isn't happy. | | | |

| | Buttercup looks after our house while I'm gone (and when I'm there) and pretends to not want to be cuddled, but breaks down occationally and becomes the softy that she tries to hide. Also she is so serious in the car and I tease her constantly. She looks at me in discust with my childish ways then looks forward again.
Bailey has eyes going two different directions and he's blind but cute as a button! I just have to hold his face and kiss him. He stands on his back legs waiting to get belly rubs even though he is sometimes facing the wrong way. And I love his butt when he's walking away. His butt swinging and his short legs walking with such an attitude.
Kisses from the kids are the best and listening to them sleep so peacefully comes in second.
