Hello everyone. I have 2 dogs, brother and sister. Almost 4 years old. Mix of Collie, GermanShepard, Chow. They are around 50Ibs each. It breaks my heart, that I have to move and cannot take them with me. I dont want to take them to the humane society or the pound, because I don't want them put to sleep. I am trying hard to find them a nice home, preferbly in a country type setting, where both were taking by one person. They have been with me since they were 6 weeks old, lived in my car with me when I was homeless and living in the mountains in Arizona, Traveled cross country by car with me, over 4 times, they have never been without me. They are protective dogs, and alert to the slightest sound. They are loving and playful, though VERY gaurded around new people but once they get used to you, they are the best dogs ever. I dont have any pictures of them. I live in Dayton Ohio, and am moving into a house with some other people, since bills have become to much to bear on a single basis. If anyone can help, or knows of anyone, or can advise me on what I can do, so that they are not put to sleep, please let me know.

Go to www.petfinder.com It lists numerous rescue groups that you can search geographically or by breed. Even a German Shepard or Collie rescue group would be willing to take a mixed dog. The groups screen applicants very thoroughly, sometimes even requiring a home visit, so you would be assured that your pets would find a great home with someone interested in the breed. At Petfinder you can also place a Classified ad listing your pets for adoption. If all else fails, call your closest SPCA. That org typically does not euthanize.

Hi , I agree with the advice directing you to the petfinder website. I have adopted all 3 of my current dogs through their site. Good luck !
