Is there anyone in the Orlando area who has horses who wouldn't mind some volunteered help with them?  I want to learn the basics, etc of horse care, but it's so difficult to do without a horse! 

I'm new to this site, so I'm not even sure if there are "horse people" members.    Anyway, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

You might also consider volunteering at a non-profit that works with horses.  There are a numebr i nthe Orlando area including Freedom Ride (freedomride.com), which I believe does therapeutic riding for handicapped kids.  Anotehr good website is floridahorse.com.  It has links to a number of dofferent organizations that might be a good fit.
