I just learned from a neighbor of mine that a slaughter house for horses is going to open in our area. Where can I go to find out if this is true and how can I stop this? This facility is supposed to slaughter healthy horses for human consumption overseas. I am appalled at this! I hope it's just rumor and not true. Where do I begin?
