| | Just heard of this nationwide pet recovery system if your pet is lost.
If your pet is lost, you can register your pet and alerts (similar to Amber Alerts) are sent out to municipalities, groomers, vets, shelters, trainers, retailers, etc within a 50 mile radius. Looks like you can also register on the site, to be notified if pets are lost in your area, so you can keep a look out for them.
