Friends
of Ingham
County Animals
LETS HELP OUR NEIGHBORS!
KURANDA DOG BED DRIVE and CAT LITTER DRIVE
FOR EATON COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
Friends of Ingham County Animals believes our neighbors in Eaton County could use a helping hand…who wouldn’t in this economic
climate? By donating Kuranda dogs beds and cat litter, we can make the animals day to day lives a little better at Eaton County Animal Control!
DID YOU KNOW………
~On May 20th, 2008, Sheriff Mike Raines wrote a memo stating his order to stop the sales of animals for medical research….but we are yet to see an official resolution
~in 2007, there were 734 dogs admitted to Eaton County Animal Control,
only 180 of those dogs were adopted
~in 2007, 80% of the cats that entered Eaton County Animal Control
were
euthanized
~Currently, volunteers are NOT allowed at Eaton County Animal Control
~No cat litter or CAT BOXES are used at Eaton County A.C…..only shredded paper on the ground of the enclosure for the cats to eliminate in.
To donate cat litter, please make a donation via our website (www.ficas.petfinder.com) or send donations to P.O. Box 11115, Lansing, MI 48901. We will be collecting donations and then delivering the cat litter to Eaton County Animal Control personally. Cat boxes have already been donated by all of the “Friends” volunteers!
THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS! We couldn’t do it without you!
