Just received a booklet in the mail about a sanctuary in Wyoming that is housing animals that were used for animal research. The stories of these animals broke my heart. Please take a minute to check out their website and maybe become a sponser to these helpless creatures.  I am sickened that the research industry does not do anything for these animals since they make millions of dollars a year abusing these poor souls.  I'm outraged that the goverment still lets them use animals like this. OK lets talk animal research, and I agree it is a very touchy subject.

I have a grand nephew who just celebrated his 5 th birthday, thanks to animal research, it cured his cancer.

I have a older sister, who beat cancer, thanks to animal research.

Do you know anyone who has won the battle against cancer, bet animal research had something to do with it.

Do you know anyone who has had a cornea transplant and can now see again, say thank you to animal research.

Do you know anyone who has had bypass surgery, say thank you to animal research.

And the list goes on.

NO, I don't think animal research should be used for testing skin creams, cosemetics, etc.

But there is a place and need for it.

So do not totally condem all of it.

I took your advice and checked out this website. What a beautiful place! And what a wonderf ul organization. This is my idea of a vacation spot! Thanks for letting us know.
