I used to own a 26 acre ranch and seven dogs were all part of our family. My husband and I divorced and he took four of the dogs and three went to my oldest daughter's home since I live in a small apartment and had no room for large dogs.

My daughter was moving to Texas and brought two of the dogs to her father's house and tied the Lab to the back tire of my car in the parking lot and left for Texas. I had told her I could not take the dog because my apartment was so small and I did not have $500.00 to pay for a pet deposit plus, there is a size limit and the Lab was well beyond that limit.

This dog is wonderful, she loves people and children. She can be trusted anywhere and is true blue. She was raised on the ranch and did things to help us. If any goats or sheep that were born and abandoned or orphaned, she would help to save them and some she just took on the mommy role by keeping a watch over them and sleeping with them to keep them warm. I wish I could keep her, I do love her with all of my heart, but I can't afford to loose my home, either.
