Honey is a wonderful 3 to 4 year old beagle that I found three weeks ago on the edge of the road. I stopped gethered her up and brought her home. She was suffering from starvation and had a cherry eye. I took her to our local shelter and have had no luck finding her home. Our shelter is packed as most are and I agreed to foster her until a suitable and caring home can be found. To make this an easier process, I paid to have her spayed and the cherry eye was operated on. She looks so beautiful now and her vision is excellent again. She has now had all her shots, been groomed, and is doing great. She does want to be held in your lap and is potty trained. She gets along fairly well with our dogs but still wants to be fed first. I can reach in her bowl though and she is not aggressive toward me. She is starting to enjoy toys, loves to walk and run. She does listen very well and will stay close by my side while we are out. She walks on a lead and without. I dont want her to be tied out to a box or hunted. She needs to find an older couple that can devote alot of snuggle time to a precious girl. She is great with my kids. They are 12 and 16. She seems not to mind our neighbors cats either. She can shake paws and sit as well. She will be available to be adopted immediately at no cost . But, you must love her fo the rest of her days. She now has a bed, special cover, and bowls that will go with her. She is small and would have to be an indoor dog. She weighs about 18 pounds and is 12 inches tall. She has the beagle tri-color and howl. She doesn't bark unless she's happy. If you are interested in this pet we can deliver her to you or ship her if needed. We are in West Virginia and can be contacted at flyinmonkey on this site or at flyinmonkey@yahoo.com
