I guess this is it. Our broker showed the property this morning and it seems that we have a probable buyer already! I thought this would take months . . .
Please don't judge me - I had $22K stolen from our corporation and $13K in maintenance last year plus a breakdown. When I started this in 2000, I had every intention of staying here and taking care of these animals until I was really old. We just don't have the money now to do a good job - that's why I need you. I didn't plan on losing the money to a theft nor did I foresee our donations drop by 65% due to the economic downturn.
I am going to keep about 20 of the dogs - they are the ones that will probably cross the Rainbow pretty soon so I feel confident that I can care for them properly for the few years if that many that they have remaining.
Here's a list of the animals that need homes - homes better than I can give them now. It isn't right to deny them Heartguard, doggy biscuits, necessities! I hope some of you can help. I am also attaching the "slide" - the image below is a graphic. And I will send pictures of whichever ones you might be able to help me with. I am so sorry. Please forgive me - my best is just not good enough anymore.
