| The astrological symbol for late May and much of June is the Roman numeral for two, it represents the twins or duality. Gemini is considered a masculine or positive extrovert sign. I was taught in school that the word Gemini gives us the terms "by jiminy" or "jumping jiminy" or "Jiminy cricket". To swear by jiminy is actually making an oath to Castor and Pollux, the Gemini twins. Also known as the Sign of the Artist or Inventor, Gemini is Positive in polarity (as are Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius). The general characteristics of Positive Signs broadly match those for the extrovert personality and such individuals are naturally more impulsive, buoyant, communicative and sociable than are the Zodiac Signs of Negative polarity (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces). Positive Traits: adaptable, versatile, intellectual, communicative, spontaneous, eloquent, youthful, lively, talkative, amusing, witty and logical. Negative Traits: changeable, restless, inquisitive, inconsistent, superficial, cunning, nervous, and tense. Likes: talking, novelty, variety, anything unusual and working on multiple projects at the same time. Dislikes: being alone, being in a rut, mental inaction, conventional learning and feeling tied down. Those who know me on AA and whom have met me are usually given this warning. Being a Gemini I have a tendency to get very excited about something, like a movie for instance, and am very capable of convincing them they will love it also. At the last minute, I will change my mind and want to see a different movie so be forewarned. Greg | | | |

| Cacky I am aware of the "mind changing" thing and try to keep it under control. I think I can be pursuasive though and would soon have you happy again after driving you crazy. I am curious what some of my freinds here think. Jennifer, Lala, Karen, JJ etc. They know me pretty well and can be objective about some of the traits I listed. I do many things in twos and am aware of that. I keep two residences, have two dogs, generally buy things in twos including gifts for women. I have sports cars that only seat two but I doubt that applies lol. I only have one cat but have sought a playmate for him for some time so far I have not found the right traits I need from shelter cats. Ragdolls are fairly timid and another cat would push Incubus around so I need one with the right temperment. Greg | | | |

| Hi!
Greg - it's all starting to make sense now! LOL Although, I may be painting myself into an astrological corner of stereotype! LOL I can definitely see some of these qualities in you - intelligence, communicative, liking unusal things or rather things that are interesting to you, inquisitive (in a positive way), amusing, witty, logical and you are definitely eloquent. I think a grain, or two, of salt is needed when talking astrology as other factors are really responsible for making us who we are.
I'm a Scorpio and Halloween baby (and I'm not sure that makes it worse or not), and in general I think we Scorpio's get a bad rap for being uber emotional and such. Learn to love your Scorpios! We just want to be understood! LOL This should help:
Being a water sign, Scorpio is considered highly passionate, imaginative, determined, persevering, inflexible and self-confident.
As the eighth sign in the zodiac, Scorpio is associated with the astrological house number 8, which is associated with natural Scorpio matters - birth, death, transformation, sexual relationships and deeply committed relationships of all kinds, and the occult and psychic matters. (read: I have great intuition. LOL)
Astrologers broadly agree that the following are characteristics of Scorpio:
Intense, Powerful, Determined / tenacious / persevering, Emotional / sensitive, Calm but seething, Reserved / withdrawn, Secretive, Deep / profound, Passionate, Loyal / devotional, Ambitious, Extreme, Willful / fanatical, Mysterious / magnetic, Deeply resentful / brooding / potentially destructive, sexual.
Scorpio is the Zodiac sign that indicates the deepest interest in sexual matters, and for most Scorpios, sex is an expression of love. (not really sure if this is good or bad)
Likes - activity, mysteries, secrets, sex, winning, being acknowledged, strategy
Dislikes - being analyzed, being asked personal questions, people who know more than they do, too many compliments, having to trust a stranger
Physcial traits - In appearance Scorpio is well proportioned, strong in body, muscular, slender, with a broad face and a commanding look. Their eyes are their strong point. Their gaze is often considered "hypnotic, piercing, and imperial".
So apparently I should be a sex addict, in jail for the throwing and burning of property due to a destructive, deep, committed relationship that doesn't work out. And while I'm there, I might be ambitious enough to start a new business after taking over the place! LOL

| Basenjidad I hope we are not straying from your original post too much. If so we can take this discussion elsewhere. Jennifer I do not have time for a proper response to your post but it is certainly a fascinating one you are most impressive. Here I thought you were just a lovely blonde with a cute butt from all that roller blading! I will try for a proper answer late tonight after I finish getting plastered... er I mean doing some venetian plastering. I do have some help but I am afraid to leave them alone. Otherwise I may end up with two candy striped bedrooms or fuzzy kitten wall paper. (You can turn your back on a woman, but you can never turn your back on a woman with a paint brush). Greg | | | |

| Jennifer!!!! Deeply resentful / brooding / potentially destructive, sexual. Now I know what Greg sees in you, that describes his last two girlfriends Seriously, this is going to be fun, you two are hilarious! I had to stop and read some of it. As far as a grain or two of salt, you two might want to grab the whole salt shaker. K | | | |

LOL Jennifer you should list some of the bad traits of Scorpio also So far you are describing someone I could love or would love or could or would marry lol. Being a water sign, Scorpio is considered highly passionate, imaginative, determined, persevering, inflexible and self-confident. These things describe you as best I can tell Jennifer except for the inflexible part. I have yet to see that trait in you. Physcial traits - In appearance Scorpio is well proportioned, strong in body, muscular, slender, with a broad face and a commanding look. Their eyes are their strong point. Their gaze is often considered "hypnotic, piercing, and imperial". This is the one I am least sure about, your face is not something I would consider broad. Your gaze and its power is yet to be determined. Greg | | | |

| JJ you are never bossy. Malevolent, capricious, pragmatic, dogmatic and opinionated but never bossy. Did that help? I think I need to find my own definitions of Libra, yours looked a little wishy washy. I find no references to sexual desire like Scorpios. Further research is needed. Greg | | | |

| Here is some useful info about Libras, since some of the essentials were left out in the previous description: Libra and Sex Sex is often mental for Air signs, and Libra is no exception. These great communicators are possessed of a strong intellect, and these mental fireworks often manifest themselves in the thorough exploration of a lover. Only the brave need apply! Since the Scales like to be in balance, though, they are often thinking of what both partners want. A marked distaste for confrontation can sometimes be perceived as disinterest on Libra's part, but it's more often just a deep-down desire to please. Libras love seduction and foreplay, and plenty of talk leading to some hot action. If this is all achieved in the right luxurious setting, watch out! Libras swathed in riches are a pleasure to behold. Libra loves the thought of a gifted and attractive partner, since they feel their partner is receiving just that. It's safe to say that a little erotica goes a long way with the Scales, since these folks can be oh-so-playful with their toys. Glad I could be a help JJ lol. Greg | | | |

| June 16th is considered a holiday by many around the world or at least a day to be celebrated. In such places as Dublin Ireland and Boston Mass., the day is called Bloomsday. The hundredth aniversary pertaining to this day was 2004. Without looking up the answer, does anyone know the reason for this to be such a special day? It does have to do with a great modern work of fiction and the main character in the book. Any guesses? JJ | | | |

| The authors initials are JAAJ, he had two middle names. Blooms first name was Leopold. I have a feeling Skyblue knows but I am not sure that many here have read the book. It is not light reading lol. Greg | | | |

| I am not familiar with point place. I did figure out the clues for the book, I never finished it but it takes place on June 16th, Ulysses by James Joyce. Being celebrated in Dublin and Boston helped me narrow it down to an Irish writer. Julie | | | |
