Since I have 9 forever dogs, one foster pup, and six kitties, I figured not only would the veterinary technician position help pay the bills, but maybe I could get a family discount at the office

When I rescued a litter of kittens I decided to name them after the French impressionists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  First was Monet, then Renoir, and finally Sisley.  Sisley quickly became my little precious shadow; she really clings to me.  Well, I just had to use her name for my screen name.

I have a cat named Donny, who was a Donny and Marie pair (Marie died in 2005.)

I have a dog named Sampson, came to me with this name, and boy does it fit.

I have a dog named Shadow, since all he did for the first few months was follow Sampson around.

My last dog is Helen, named after Helen Keller, since she is deaf and blind.

My last animal is Freddy, who was named before I got him, but works.

My name is "rescuebook" because I wrote a funny book about all of the crazy animals I've rescued and adopted over the years.

My theory is that the nutty ones wind up at my place but my family says they just get nutty after hanging out with me and my pack for a while.

Well, I named my black & white american shorthair cat Cuddles because when he wants to be held, he stands on his hind legs & stretches his front paws up (like a child does to be picked up) & he cuddles with me & I'm his human mommy. 55 is my age.
