| tex, since I'm from Texas vet tech, that's what I'm studying for. Since I have 9 forever dogs, one foster pup, and six kitties, I figured not only would the veterinary technician position help pay the bills, but maybe I could get a family discount at the office | | | |

| When I rescued a litter of kittens I decided to name them after the French impressionists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. First was Monet, then Renoir, and finally Sisley. Sisley quickly became my little precious shadow; she really clings to me. Well, I just had to use her name for my screen name. Karen | | | |

| I thought I was unique in naming my animals! I have a cat named Donny, who was a Donny and Marie pair (Marie died in 2005.) I have a dog named Sampson, came to me with this name, and boy does it fit. I have a dog named Shadow, since all he did for the first few months was follow Sampson around. My last dog is Helen, named after Helen Keller, since she is deaf and blind. My last animal is Freddy, who was named before I got him, but works. | | | |

| Many years ago I was trying to come up with a name for a email address, I looked up and saw a book on my shelf that said Dog Tricks. I reversed it and have used Trickydog ever since. (which is more than I can say for the book, none of my dogs care for stupid pet tricks, they are way to smart for that!) | | | |

| My name is "rescuebook" because I wrote a funny book about all of the crazy animals I've rescued and adopted over the years. My theory is that the nutty ones wind up at my place but my family says they just get nutty after hanging out with me and my pack for a while. I don't know which theory is correct.... | | | |

| | Well on most websites I use the same name but have to add or change a number or pick a new one and then I thought of both of my dogs names and then I realized just how loyal my dogs are to me. They wait all day for me to come home from work (just so Lucy can aroooo like someone is torturning her and Billy just barks cause he is extremenly hard of hearing and its his thing other than whinning) so we can go for a walk or just be in the same room with me. Then I brush their teeth (Bill has few) clean the ears and wipe the tear stains and get a treat and go to bed...each to his own. They have survived rescue from shelters, moving 5 times (once 500 miles) and getting ready to move again. And through all this, they stand by me no matter what! If that's not loyalty, I don't know what is. So that's my "name" to honor them on a website just to talk about them! | | | |

| Tasha was our family dog when i was growing up. We got her from the shelter when she was about 2 or 3. She was an abused dog, and very skittish around men....even my brother. But she was still the sweetest dog. When my mom brought her home she jumped up and down and seemed to know she was home for good. She was the best dog ever! She listened so well and just knew when any of us needed extra love. She came with us everywhere and was great with my daughter when she was born. Tasha lived to be 19!! We had to put her down b/c she got so sick and none of us could imagine making her suffer, she had a long good life with us tho. So hense my screen name...she was number 1!
Still miss her like crazy tho....all of us do.

I looked around my desk and came up with "FrenchOnionDip1999" (that was a guess at the year, I had pens in it, no really) Good thing you didn;t name your dog like that.

| Well, I named my black & white american shorthair cat Cuddles because when he wants to be held, he stands on his hind legs & stretches his front paws up (like a child does to be picked up) & he cuddles with me & I'm his human mommy. 55 is my age.
