OMG, when I went to visit Katie (UBSMom) this summer on the Cape, she took me to "Trader Joe's"........ it's mostly speciality foods, but they do have a meat, dairy, friut & veggie section...the prices were awesome. I am gonna have to make a trip just to stock up on stuff from Trader Joe's!!!!! Apples....McIntosh or Granny Smith?

| McIntosh = my mom always used them for pies, however, i find Cortland to be great and they don't cook down quite so much in a pie.
on that same thought, apple or pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving? or both?
