| | Our Cherokee I found as a little puppy running down the middle of a road that had a lot of traffic on it. The road is in an area where big rigs and delivery trucks went down a lot. I seen her almost get run over by a big truck. I stopped and got her and took her home with me. She loooked like a White German Shepherd puppy. I had 3 dogs already. So I told my husbnd I was going to find her a home. Our landlady was a groomer for a pet shop. She said she would take her to the shop and find her a new owner. 3 times she told me she was going to take her. # times in a month she didn't show up. finally when she did , I told her I wasn't going let her take her, because I had gotten too attached to her. My husband wasn't happy that I was keeping her. But he let me keep her. When we took her to the vet to have her spayed, he told us that she was not all dog. She had either wolf or coyote in her. She was the so lovable. We nicknamed her Love Bug. She had to be euthanized this in June. She was almost 13 yrs old. She had lost control of her back legs. She couldn't walk anymore. We had to say goodbye to our Love Bug. Our Apache we picked out of a litter. We were going to get a female. He was the only male left. He was silver and black. his sisters were all the same German Shepherd color brown and black. He was the only puppy running around and gettng into trouble. The owners little girl said he was her favorite and she called him wolf. He was the only one of the puppies that had erect ears at that early age. I fell in love with hm at first sight. He was so ornery. all of his life. I nick named him Snicklefritz. He turned 10 yrs old this year. In June he died peacefully in his sleep. I miss both of them so much. They were my best friends. I 've got an aching heart. | | | |

| | Kittums I am sorry for your loss. It is hard to say good bye to a part of your family that has been with you all those years. People here at AA are the best, when you need to talk their will be someone here who will talk to you. We all have gone through the same thing sometime in our lives. Take the time to grieve give yourself that emotion they are as much a part of your family as any human. | | | |
