| | Well, my grandbunny, Kovu got sick and I took him to the vet yesterday. He was having bowel problems and as can be the case with bunnies, they can develop tumors or impactions, well, my vet suspected both. He kept him overnight and had him on IV fluids but little Kovu did not make it through the night. My granddaughter and I were devastated, but the vet was so sweet and when I went to pick him up, he was all wrapped snug and warm in a beautiful plaid flannel blanket....like a special Christmas package. Kovu was a Netherlands dwarf rabbit and he was the cutest bunny I've ever seen...and one of the sweetest too. We will miss him terribly but I know he is running and dancing in the fields of clover across the rainbow bridge.
Stay sweet my little fellow...we all loved you.

| | Thank you all so much....my folks were kidding with me tonight because I still shed tears...we were never allowed rodents and Kovu was a first for me. I was kind of in charge when I went over there to supervise Codi in the cage cleaning and maintenance...he was just a sweet bunny and while they don't run and wag their tails, he gave the sweetest bunny kisses.
Now he's keeping my Scruffy man on his toes, I'm sure!!!
