On 11/19/2007 my beloved Golden Retriever Jake was taken suddenly from me by cancer. He was 9 years old. His death was so sudden and unexpected that the fear of losing him passed quickly for me. He passed while in emergency surgery after discovery of the cancer within his liver. The decision to let him go was painful and heart wrenching, but the unselfish thing to do. He passed peacefully, while asleep. The wonderful memories of Jake have overshadowed the loss I feel. Jake was a loving, fun character and lived his life as if he were a puppy. He managed to make instant friends wherever he was. He had so many strange Golden ways that my life will continue to be filled by his memories. I will never forget him or stop loving him. So long Jake and thank you.

Heavenly Father, I ask you this with all my faith, patience and virtue, That you may grace the path that Jake runs on now, As he plays on Heaven's soil. Lord, Life is not what we all except, Animals are your elect angels, and with this being said Keep Jake close to your heart. It is said in the Bible that with FAITH anything is possible. A blind man was given sight just by touching the robe. Allow Jakes' family to see the light, hear the cries, and feel the joy, that Jake brought. May the family be comforted by your Spirit. There is not much I can say...I'm so sorry for the immense loss of your beloved friend. He will always be in your heart and in your golden memories. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Patt

I'm so sorry about the loss of your beloved Jake. I can only imagine the hurt you are feeling . My thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep his memory alive and remember all the good times you had with him.
