She went to the vet and it was determined she had a toothache, and she was given a shot for pain and had a bad reaction to the shot and quit breating, her heart was strong, but she would not breathe on her on. We had to let it go. This happened on Wednesday, Aug 6, 2008. She is missed horribly as she was my 12 lb shadow.

Sorry to hear about your little Juanita....it's hard losing a pet, but even harder when it is least expected ..... unfortunately, our pets, just like us humans, never know if there could be a serious reaction to a medicine.  Most all of us here, have lost a pet, so we fully understand your sadness.....

Thank you ever so much. While I have 5 other dogs and a cat, she was her Daddy's baby. She loved to take a nap, if you said NAP, she would cock her little head and run to the bedroom. She followed me everywhere I went. As a matter of fact she did not like to go outside if I was not with her. It is still hard, but getting better each day little by little; I still cry, but a little less each day. She was my joy, the love of my life. Again Thank-you for telling me you understood, It meant a lot.

So sorry to hear of your loss.  My heart goes out to you.  I also just lost my granddog on Saturday.  He also was on the table during surgery and had to be put down for good.  I hope that all our animals that passed over the Rainbow Bridge are playing and having a great time without pain.
