My beautiful Grandpuppy Teddy is now out of pain. I never knew a pain as devastating as this in my life. We had to put him to rest on Wednesday. He could no longer eat, drink and could hardly walk. It all happened so fast. We did everything we could to help him. He contracted Lyme Disease and by the time we caught it, the disease had alredy shut his down his Kidneys. We have done nothing but cry everyday. I miss my baby so much, I can hardly bare the pain. Teddy is the Yorkie on my main page. Love your babies. Hug them as much as you possibley can. Kiss them every morning and night. Tell them you love them every minute you can.

Chins, I am so sorry for your loss.  I know how terrible it is to lose a granddog.  My sons Greyhound, Pacer passed away Sat. the 9th on the table during surgery.  It is with great sorrow also for me and my family.  This dog was like my own.  I was the first one to rescue him from the track.  He loved me like a mother.  I had to teach him how to go up and down stairs, what a toy was, etc.  I hope that Teddy and Pacer are up there playing with my Heidi and having a great time.  NO MORE PAIN.....  Pacer had a tumor that wrapped around his spine, bladder, and his heart.  There was no chance.  And this happened all so suddenly.

So, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  It is such a terrible thing.

We know exactly how you feel. Our little Juanita went to the vet for a toothache, they gave her a pain shot she was fine we came home and when she went out to potty with her brothers and sisters she started having a seizure, my partner rushed her back to the vet and she was given a shot to counteract the pain shot and had another seizure, they put her on a respirator as she had quit breathing and her heart was strong, but they told us that during a seizure (which she had never had to this point) that she threw a blood clot to her brain and she had forgotton how to breath so we had to put her down. She is so sorely missed, and we too have cried ever day she she left us on 08-05-08, she was only 4 years old, I miss my little Juanita "My Pretty Pretty" so much, my heart aches and I have to take a sleeping pill to sleep at night as she laid right up against me, She was my baby and I was her Pappa.

I feel your pain, I just lost my boy Casey and can't stop crying.  Your right, you should show them the love they show you and fuss over them.  I did and am happy about that, I just wish he could have been with me longer.

It is devastating, I'm right there with you.  I have always said that the least we can do for our pups is to mourn them when they leave us, after all, they give us so much and are so loyal and grateful and the most loving creatures anyone can ask for. 

You did what was best for your Teddy.  There is no reason they should have to be in pain.  He is playing and running free of pain again.  Be thankful you were able to give him that last gift.

 Again, I feel your pain, it hurts so much I can barely take it.
