Hi,

My name is Christine and I am a Volunteer Host for a few small, 501c3 Non-Profit Rescue Groups. I have started a Veterinary Fund to help these Rescue Groups pay off incurred Veterinary Bills for the rescue and emergency Veterinary Care for some of the abused and very sick animals who were saved and treated due to inflicted abuse from their owners. The Rescue Groups have very low sponsorship and it is my goal to pay off these Veterinary expenses for them so they can continue to save and treat other abused animals which their efforts have been crippled due to excessive outstanding veterinary care debt.

These are wonderful caring Rescues I help and these animals are no longer in  pain or ill and have been given a second chance to find happiness and a new LOVING home where they will be treasured the way animals should be.

Please help me attain this goal as these animals were so deserving of this emergency, extensive care, as ALL animals are and their are SO many who need the help of this Veterinary Fund.

I thank you in advance for your help. Please follow this link to donate such a small amount for such a great cause.

Christine,

I noticed that your fund expired after not meeting the goal. Have you considered writing and submitting grant proposals for the various rescue groups with whom you work? Another option would be to create a fund through one of the shelters that you administer to various groups as needed. You can view directories on-line or at your local library. Please don't give up on this noble venture. Bless you for thinking and caring about the animals.

Some quick thoughts:

www.aspca.org - groups can get grants

www.sharesome.org - try for $10K prize

www.brewsomegood.ca  - not sure how it works, name your goal ?

www.roxiesfund.org ?  not sure how grants work

Leave cans in restaurants, etc.  I just contributed to a s/n fund the other day...not sure if the lady has non-profit, but I think it's a brilliant idea by a caring person.

PS  Some vets have FREE care - some kind of fund - I don't know what it is called, and I don't know if the pets are returned to you....some local vets have hardship funds - you'd have to ask.  It might only be for strays ???
