| | hi, i am luvinmypets, i ;ive in az with my dogs and cats, i am a stroke survivor, my pets are my sanity every day. i no longer am able to work, i get to be home now with my critters. i am a huge animal lover of all animals. i think if every person would pick one animal they really love, we could save them all from abuse, trophy hunters and poachers. they have a right to live in the habitat god created for them and raise their young, just like we do. they make this world a much prettier place and happier too. just my thoughts anyway | | | |

| Ah, introductions. I've done these things so many times, and I always feel like I'm at an AA meeting or something 
Anyways, I'm Cinnamon_Shadow, a single 32yo female owned by an almost-7yo female miniature poodle named CInnamon and an almost- 6yo male Bombay cat named Shadow. My family's always had cats, so having Cinnamon has been enlightening to say least. One of her nicknames is Spaz, and it's quite appropriate for her We recenlty lost another cat, a Ragdoll named Gizmo. We'd had him since he was a kitten, and when he reached the ripe old age of 19 last year, old age finally caught up to him and we had to have him put down. 
A brief intro of myself: Among other things, I am an animal lover and am supportive of animal conservation. I am a college graduate; a history buff; a scifi fan; a reader; and an aspiring author of fiction. | | | |

| Well since Im relatively new I should do the bio thing LOL. Im rottie_mom, because rotties are my favorite breed (dont have one right now) and mom to my whole herd lol. Patachou my heartdog (rottie) went to the rainbow bridge last june after a 5 1/2 month battle with cancer. He was such a special boy.  I want another rottie but am waiting until things settle down in my life some LOL Im norwegian but have been in texas for 12 yrs now. I love animals and do rescue whenever I can. I love spending time with my babies and reading. And I think I might be becoming addicted to this site LOL As for my herd lol: Nanuchy a benji-look-a like terror lol is 12 yrs old. Got her from the Houston SPCA when she was 8 weeks old and a ball of fluff. Sooo sweet, it took 1 week for her true colors to come out. She is a total Alpha B***H LOL. We have had many rounds over the years lol. Sandi (10 yrs old) and Sonja (almost 9 yrs old) were my late ex-MIL shelties. I inherited them when she passed. They are sweet girls. Eventhough Sonja is dumber than a rock LOL. Patches and Pirata (11 1/2 yr calico cats) were the first litter of a feral cat my neighbor was feeding. It took a while before we could catch her and get her fixed lol. My girls are very sweet and actually act more like dogs than cats LOL Pookie (Red Ear Slider turtle) was in a very bad situation when my friend rescued him. He was tiny and couldnt even swim. He was doing so badly I was advised to get another RES turtle to teach him to be a turtle. That is how I ended up with Pebbles. They are both doing great and growing like weeds. Hoover (algea eater) was my ex-husband's nephew's fish. He didn't want Hoover anymore so he lives with my turtles now. And Hoover (other algea eater) came with the house my parents bought. He was too big for the tank he was in so he lives happily with Hoover and the Turtles. And lastly Hasting (betta fish) he was at Petsmart and I fell in love LOL So I guess you can tell Im good at collecting pets LOL.  | | | |

| | I'm fairly new here and would like to introduce myself. My name is Nancy and my sweet dog is Lena. She's going on nine years old this year and I've had her since she was a puppy. She's a Doberman Pinscher, a breed I have grown quite fond of over the years. My last Dobie was Scruffy who I had for 14 years. When she passed away I swore I never would get another dog, it was too painful going through her passing away, but low and behold, time passed, my heart healed a bit and along came my Lena. I must say it's very hard to live without a dog in my life. I've had pets since I was a small child and just couldn't imagine life without such wonderful friends and companions. | | | |

| Hi. My name is Brenda and I just joined this site today. I can already tell it is going to be great! I am a huge animal lover, that is where my passion lies. I have two long-hair, black and white tuxedo cats, they are great. Smooch is now 10 ,and Jasmine is 3. Even though they are not related, they look almost identical. I do not have pictures posted yet, but I will. Up until about a year ago, I had a black bombay kitty named Caesar who I adopted when he was 6 weeks old. He lived a wonderful life of 21 and 1/2 years old. Thank you for welcoming me. I look forward to meeting some of you animal lovers! | | | |

| I am a recent arrival. I wish I had run into it earlier - it seems like a lot of kindred spirits here.
I am owned by 2 felines, 12 1/2 and approx 10. They are my furbabies, as the saying goes.
I am also a dog fan, and after checking my girls out for their reactions to dogs, I am about to submit my application to try being a puppy-raiser for Assistance Dogs in training. It will be good for me in so many ways, I can hardly wait.
I grew up exposed to more dogs than cats, but I am an equal-opportunity pet-owned human. [[grin]] | | | |
