It is funny how people say looks are not important, but then you try to chat with them.  You are just talking not more nothing less and because you have no picture posted they no longer want to talk.

That is why i have no picture posted to see who is real and who is not. The real people do not need a picture to talk with you. So to all those who judge by what they see shame on you. The loss is yours.

Hey babe...I wouldn't fret too much about it. I think people are cautious on the internet and they should be. They just want to see who they are talking to and hope that it is not their ex-boyfriend . I don't necessarily think it has anything to do with your looks because all of us who know you know you don't have three eyes.

I took my picture down and put the cute bunny picture up and someone wouldn't add me as their pet pal because of it and I respect that. They want to see who they are adding and not adding Peter Rabbit.

Plus you do not have much information on your profile, so people may think you are a cyber troll or from Nigeria wishing to deposit 5.5 million dollars in a bank account that I own...and want my bank account number. 

So many more reasons than what you may believe.

But then again, we all have our way of weeding the real and the players on the internet.

well speed, i have found that i have my picture posted the whole time i have been on here. i have made many friends on here.  However, lately, some who act friendly on this site, have sent me emails stating that if i talk to certain members on here that they will no longer speak with me. 

speed, this site is somewhat also like real life...adults acting like high school students, or being petty.  my suggestion is to hopefully meet people through emails on here, or in forums, and i am sure the real, genuine, nice people you want to meet will somehow shine through.

life is too short...and i am happy that i have made several wonderful friends on this site who love pets as much as i do.

I am sorry you feel that way. Most of us here on this site that have been around for a long time, certainly know what you look like. No ones looks has ever affected any of us one way or another. I am not sure why you removed your pic from your profile here, but I fully understand why some people don't want there pic on their profile. Sometimes even a pic, is to much information to be sharing on the internet. I think as the World Wide Web gets more and more high tech, is has become much easier to find out almost anything you want to know about somebody just by knowing their name or seeing a pic of them. I am not so sure having a pic on a profile is the safest thing to be doing anymore anyways......
