I, for one am NOT happy about the end of this show. I just watched the one filmed in Detroit ~ the help that these people give these animals is tremendous. The dogs they spare from fighters are numerous. The hoarding situations they solve are amazing. Just in one episode they saved a tore up bait dog, 9 cats from a neglectful situation 2 dogs from the same home as the cats ~one was locked in the basement never saw the light of day and the other had a tumor on his rectum so big and infected he couldnt be saved. They rescued a dog from an empty pool and found her a loving home. In other episodes in every city they film in they have saved dogs left to die at the end of a chain ~starving dehydrated and many times in the Michigan show half froze to death. They have had dogs with embedded collars so deep that 1 more day it would have cut the jugular. Give credit where credit is due. These people put themselvesin harms way to help animals that surely would die if not for these "animal cops". Some of these "animal cops" have full police authority so breaking the laws I'm sure is not an option. So even though they may not be airing new episodes .... to all that help these animals YOU ROCK and THANK YOU for educating the public on the cruelty that so many animals endure every day. |
