Anyone else addicted to this show as I am?   There is another show on Animal Planet, its about vet interns I believe in Arizona that is really good also. This coming week @ 10 p.m. EST there will be all new eposides of Animal Cops, Houston.  Can't wait to watch.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted, but I do like to watch them. I will usually watch them if I find nothing else I'd rather watch on tv, and each episode keeps me interested.

I love Animal Cops/Animal Presinct, too. And I love E-Vets, too, but that's in Colorado. I've never seen a vet show in Arizona. The show in Arizona is another Animal Cops-type show. I think it's called Animal Heroes.

I began watching these when I lived in California, which is in the Pacific Time Zone. It was on a lot earlier so I rarely missed it (and saw loads of repeats). Now I miss it more often because I live in Michigan, which is in the Eastern Time Zone. Everything is 3 hours later, so these shows are on so late, even if I begin a show, I fall asleep before it's over.

I totally agree love that show. My husband says that the tv channel is broke and can't be changed.(LOL) I feel so good when you see all the good that all those people do for the animals. I still can't believe that people can be that cruel to animals.

I have to agree, I watch this show regularly. As much as the offenders anger me, I still come back. I'm glad to see that there are people out there to protect the rights of our four legged friends.

I watch it too although it can be hard to look at the severe cases of neglect.

Is it just me or are most of the neglected dogs pit bulls?

What's up with that?

yes evolbach is right...vet interns is right down the street from where i work here in CO

before that they had an emergency vets show which was filmed there too

great shows...sometimes difficult to see, but good for them to be on, although it is too bad that the ones who abuse the animals probably do not watch or care.

as far as the pit bulls, it seems like they have said on animal cops that alot of people fight them, and that is illegal and also those people are not taking care of their dogs.

i also like it's me or the dog! although that is in England...

I absolutely love those shows! My daughter loves it too, since she gets to see cats, dogs, horses, and so on (she's only 20 months).

That show, along with a few others, is what prompted me to start trying to help all the abused and sheltered animals out there. Now I donate and get the word out constantley about Puppy Mills and cruelty to animals. It's my new mission in life.

Once we are done having kids, and they get a little older, I would like to start fostering as well.

the funny thing after reading this post and posting yesterday, this morning on the way to work i was next to dr. kevin fitzgerald who was on the animal vets show and sometimes on the vet intern show...he does comedy on the side, and when animal planet has their summer festival he is always there ready to great fans!

if the animal planet expo comes to your town, stop by, it's always neat for kids, and you can bring your fur children!!

I am just as addicted to this show as you are. I love seeing these animals saved from the torture that some people put them through. It is such a good feeling to know that some people actually care about animals as much as I do and that some people actually seek justice for our animals. Our pets are here for us to love and honor and I wish that everyone would feel the same way that I do.

I'm in love with that show! I still like Animal Precinct more, though I haven't seen it in ages! I used to watch it constantly and I knew and loved everyone on it. (Didn't know them personally though Would love to if I got the chance!)

I love those shows!!!!

I always am so happy to see the same faces on there. They do not have an easy job! I'm glad that they are out there & their respective shelters allow the filming. If anything I hope that it shows that animal abuse is everywhere & a huge problem & makes more people aware of it & what it is.

I love the ending when they show the animals in a happier home with people who love them. My kitties love the show because they get extra hugs & treats. Though, I'm sure they could do without the tears soaking their fur.

I love most of the shos on A-P and it's #1 on the dial as I am sure it is for most of us.  But I have probably only seen about 15 minutes of Animal Cops.....I just cannot watch it.  I admire the people who do that work so much and wonder if I could do it without burning out in a week.

I love Animal cops . The sad thing is that Animal Precinct will not be made after this year. They will have repeats but no new episodes. I have e-mailed animal planet and told them I don't like this decision. I understand the ASPCA agreed to this also. They said that some of their cases were thrown out because they felt some of the officers were show boating.  There is more to it than that. Everyone who likes this program needs to let them know  that it should be kept on!
