Arwen is a red Malamute pulled out of a kill shelter by Malamute Rescue one day before her time was up. She was heartworm positive and was treated for heartworm when she arrived. She then surprised everybody by turning out to be pregnant and then pretty much immediately delivered 12 puppies. The puppies had a bit of a difficult time because she was treated for heartworm during the pregnancy. Look how happy Arwen looks! And look at that cow puppy! |
