I am currently Acting Administrator until we find and train new Administrator. NBCRP is at present a small but growing animal rescue organization which has been in business for about 19 years. We have our EIN (Employer Idenitification Number) from IRS but are currently working on obtaining out 50lC-3. For many of the past 19 years we were under the umbrella of another rescue group. I am hoping to find an Administrator who enjoys challenges, dealing with all sorts of people and personalities, and has Many years of EXPERIENCE in MANAGEMENT and Organization. Also, a good working knowledge of Google Documents & Spreadsheets will be very, very helpful. And, of course, the more knowledge you have of animal rescues the easier it will be for you. This position will involve setting up NEW RULES & REGULATIONS, setting up a WORKING MANUAL for Volunteers, and constantly seeking more volunteers to assist in all the many areas we need help with. Some of these areas are: 1. Weekly, or Monthly (depending on site rules) posting to Craigs list and other online bulletin boards, such as AnimalAttractions, for Volunteers; 2. Assigning tasks to volunteers, and following up to completion of assignment; 3. Training of new Volunteers 4. Creating tasks for Volunteers; Sounds easy doesn't it? But it becomes quite involved trying to keep the volunteers assigned tasks and that they understand what is to be done and the time line to be accomplished. That is where Google Documents enter the picture. I have set up various files and folders in which I have hopes of making it easier to work with the volunteers and for volunteers to find the information they need to do the task requested of them.
