The Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL) comes to the rescue of homeless pets once again! This weekend, the League will travel to Cedar Rapids, IA, for a second time to pick up the dozens of pets who were left homeless due to the recent flooding.
If you're in the D.C. area, the newest WARL residents (including 19 cats and 9 dogs) are now available for adoption and would love to meet you!

I love to hear about rescue teams. Thank you so much for going to the aid of the animals in Iowa. The Humane Soicety of MIssouri also went there to help. You guys are the greatest!

I too love to hear about the animal rescue teams that go to these weather stricken areas to help find the animals left homeless or behind! Its so great to have these kinds of organizations that can help and do this :) I really think they all are just so wonderful! It is so wonderful to have so many organizations that care about what happens to animals. So many people just consider them just an animal and no big deal. Well, they are not. They bring so much love and caring to a home and family.
